Available April 13 through May 24, Genghis fans and new guests alike are invited to try an exciting twist on an Italian-inspired favorite featuring all-white meat chicken, fresh spinach, roasted red peppers, diced onions and Udon noodles, all tossed in a scratch-made creamy Basil Pesto sauce. Guests can also pair this craveable bowl with the brand’s take on America’s #1 selling cocktail, featuring Sauza Silver tequila, triple sec, house-made pepper simple syrup, lime, and basil with a salt & pepper rim. The Basil Margarita is available for just $5 during this time.
“Our newest chef-crafted bowl is a delightful feature of the season’s freshest and most delicious ingredients, offering a delicious, chef-crafted bowl for existing guests and attracting newcomers,” said Gregg Majewski, Chief Executive Officer of Genghis Grill. “By introducing both our limited-time menu items such as the Basil Bowl and permanent menu items like our new Teriyaki Quesadilla, we’re continuing to create innovative fare that generates excitement and surprise for our fans. We continue to deliver the unexpected to them, and in-turn, we’re seeing an overwhelmingly positive response.”
In addition to the limited-time menu items, Genghis will also roll out its new Teriyaki Quesadilla appetizer, and it’s sticking around. A nod to its innovative fusions of beloved cuisines, the dish is a take on the classic Southwestern starter, featuring a blend of cheeses, peppers and onions, and Teriyaki-Sriracha marinated chicken all tucked inside a grilled flour tortilla and served up with a house-made Asian Chili Crisp Ranch dipping sauce.
Genghis has more than 80 fresh ingredients that are carefully cut and prepped every day, ensuring the perfect bite in each bowl. No matter what you're craving or where you want to enjoy your meal, you're always in control at Genghis. The brand offers fans broad appeal and caters to various flavor preferences and lifestyles by offering keto, gluten-free, low-carb, vegan and vegetarian options. The Basil bowl is the latest in the restaurants line of chef-crafted bowls, available for quick order online, or to order from the table, versus making your way through the Fresh Market Bar the traditional way. The Teriyaki Quesadilla joins a variety of other quick bites and appetizers that offer an explosion of delicious flavor.
Since launching 24 years ago in Dallas, Texas, Genghis has put a focus on brand reimaging, heightened customer service, improved food quality and even more operational excellence as a way to continue to refine the customer experience. Today, the brand has over 50 locations open across the country, serving 3.2 million customers annually.
Genghis is actively awarding locations to franchise partners who are looking to get in on the ground floor of a refreshed, reenergized concept. Ideal franchisees are sophisticated, well-capitalized operators who have multi-unit and development experience and the bandwidth to open at least three locations. Depending on geography, size of the store, configuration of the store and several other determining factors, the investment per store ranges from $346,600 to $973,500.
